Each dish delivers a vibrant burst of flavour, from delicious, glazed wings to yummy bao buns. If you’re someone with a big appetite, you’re in luck—White Tiger offers an all-you-can-eat option, so you can enjoy as many delicious dishes as you like.
Fainting Goat (Jesse and Natalie’s favourite)

Next is The Fainting Goat, where Southern comfort food meets modern American cuisine with a dash of international flair. The wings and pizzas are a real favourite, with Natalie and Jesse swearing by them – they’re seriously finger-licking good! And if you need a pick-me-up, don’t miss their famous Espresso Martini – it’s one of the best in town.
ANI’s Gin Bar

If you’re looking for a stylish spot with great drinks and delicious food, Annie’s Gin Bar is a must-visit. Eloise can’t get enough of this place! With a fantastic selection of gins and creative cocktails, every drink is as much a feast for the eyes as it is for the tastebuds. You can enjoy some tasty tapas or go for one of their mouth-watering mains for a memorable night out. Annie’s Gin Bar is all about good vibes, great flavour, and a little bit of flair.
El Mexicano Zapata Cantina

If you’re after something with a bit more spice, head over to El Mexicano Zapata Cantina. This lively spot is a local favourite, including with our Zipline Guides, Samantha and Ash. The photo below shows our team celebrating Ash’s birthday – a reflection of the fun, vibrant atmosphere you can expect. El Mexicano serves up an authentic taste of Mexico, with sizzling fajitas, cheesy quesadillas, and a range of fresh, zesty flavours that will transport your taste buds straight to the heart of Mexico. Samantha’s go-to dish is the chicken enchiladas, while Ash can’t go past the tacos. Each meal is made with care and served in a colourful setting that brings the fiesta to life. Night Market

Every Thursday evening, the market comes alive with a tantalizing array of street food stalls offering a global smorgasbord of delights. From juicy Johnny dumplings to smoky barbecue, the Night Market is a sensory overload in the best possible way. Be sure to try the Mussel Madness stall, where fresh, succulent mussels are prepared in a variety of mouthwatering ways. Wander from stall to stall, sampling dishes from around the world, all while soaking up the vibrant, bustling atmosphere. The Night Market is a true food lover’s paradise.
Okere Falls Store + Craft Beer Garden

Last on the list is Okere Falls Store + Craft Beer Garden, a must-visit spot for anyone who loves great food, craft beer, and beautiful surroundings. This place offers a unique slice of vibrant food and beverage culture. Every Friday, they host their famous burger and beer night, where you can choose from three different flavour combinations, with options for chicken, beef, or a tasty vegetarian filling. Our team had a fantastic time there! Oh, and they also won the title of New Zealand’s Best Toasted Sandwich for 2024 – worth a visit!
