Polynesian Spa – Little bit of luxury – Lake Spa

Have you spent your day mountain biking or ziplining with Rotorua Canopy Tours? After your busy day you should head down to Polynesian Spa to relax, warm up and soothe those sore muscles.

Polynesian Spa has been an iconic attraction in Rotorua since it was established 1972. The picture perfect views out over Lake Rotorua are something else! But you need to check them out for yourself. Check out what Polynesian Spa offer so you can experience this little bit of luxury.

Family Pool

This is the perfect pool for the whole family to enjoy. There is a section for toddlers in shallow water while the older kids can play in the deeper part of the pool on the water slide. While the kids entertain themselves parents can watch and relax from the mineral hot pools.

Deluxe Lake Spa

Overlooking Lake Rotorua these alkalaine mineral hot pools are the perfect pools to relax while being surrounded by New Zealands native flora and fauna. There is also a cold plunge pool for hot-cold hydrotherapy which can help with things such as arthritis.  They say switching between hot and cold pools three times will give you the best results!

Private Pools

The private hot pools have an open roof for amazing sky views, while relaxing and taking time out privately for 30 minutes. The mineral water comes from the Rachel Spring which is a source of alkaline water and it was historically said that those who bathe in these waters are blessed with ageless beauty.

Adult Hot Pool

These calming hot pools are reserved for adults (15 years +). At these pools there is a reflexology walk that stimulates pressure points in your feet which encourage energy and blood flow throughout your body. You can also soak in the deeper adult pool which can help stretch out those sore muscles after your long day of adventures in Rotorua.

Polynesian Spa recommend to spend at least three hours at Polynesian Spa to have time to be able to enjoy a hot soak in one of their mineral pools, relax in your chosen therapy and have time for the relaxation lounge.  You have the choice of different forms of facials, massages and AIX. AIX is a hydrotherapy spa treatment of a full body exfoliation and a full body coconut oil relaxation massage.
