“A fantastic experience”

“This was the first time either my wife or I had tried zip lining, but it won’t be our last after the fantastic experience we had with Rotorua Canopy Tours. Our only concern will be whether any other operation can match the amazing experience we had in Rotorua.

I can’t overstate how wonderful our experience was. Rotorua Canopy Tours is a first-class operation, taking care of every detail to make sure its customers have a great time. They were on time for the pick-up at our hotel, they provided us with all the necessary gear for our adventure (including gloves, jackets and hats to keep us warm in the forest), took all the necessary safety precautions and took us on amazing course of zip lines and suspension bridges. Our guides, Scott and Paul, were entertaining and helped our group of 10 strangers come together and support each other during our 2.5 hours together. But we also knew we were in good hands, and that we were safe throughout our adventure. They even threw in some conservation education that added to the experience.

So even if you are afraid of heights or worried that this might be too physical for you, do yourself a favor and take the plunge. We had some of those same fears, yet this was one of the highlights of the three weeks we spent in Australia and New Zealand. You should also ask about their package deal with the Polynesian Spa in town – after you’re done on the zip line, they drop you off at the spa to spend as long as you like in the thermal baths – zip and a dip, if you will. It was a wonderful combination.”

Just the most amazing way to see the native forest, learn a bit about the wildlife and conservation and have the greatest fun ever.
